GLENDALE, WI – (October 13, 2020) – River Run Computers, a provider of IT and Cybersecurity managed services, has acquired Alexssa, also a provider of IT services out of West Bend. The official announcement was made to employees on October 8. The move to acquire Alexssa first started when owner, Chris Wenzel, approached his long-time friend and owner of River Run, Paul Riedl, Jr. The process took four months, and Alexssa employees will begin employment with River Run on November 1.
“I knew the time was right after 23 years to still be active in a larger business while getting out of the ‘ivory tower’ for more family and travel time,” said Wenzel. “River Run’s reputation for always putting the client first and taking care of their employees with a strong, family culture was a perfect fit for our team and clients.”
The acquisition of Alexssa fits into River Run’s strategy to help clients, employees and their communities achieve meaningful results. By purchasing Alexssa, River Run will add over 200 clients, including over 70 with managed services. This means that the combined organizations have now served over 1,000 businesses in Wisconsin.

To celebrate the two companies combining as one, River Run will be offering free network and security assessments to potential clients in Wisconsin to showcase the strength of the team and to uncover any productivity issues that can be improved upon or vulnerabilities that should be mitigated.
